Accelerated Reader



Usher-Collier Heights Elementary implements the Accerlerated Reader (AR) Program. This daily progress monitoring software assessment is used to monitoring the practice of reading, increase reading comprehension, and monitor progress toward College and Career Readiness expectations.

 

 

 

 

 



 

iReporters



Usher Collier-Heights is in the process of becoming a STEM-Certified school. Our teachers, students, and parents participate in STEM Fridays each week. On these days students receive a design challenge and complete the full engineering process to solve the problem.  iReporters are students who create iMovie news reports on the week's projects.
